Healing.
Power.
Sisterhood.

Our Story
Midwest Sister Circle Inc. was born from a combination of waiting and resilience. After facing more than a decade of infertility, Dominque Borneman founded the organization in 2023 to create a safe and compassionate space for women journeying through every stage of motherhood, the joy, the grief, and the healing.
What began as a gathering of twelve women quickly became a movement rooted in sisterhood and purpose. Shortly after founding the organization, Dominque experienced pregnancy and infant loss, strengthening her devotion to maternal mental health and to helping women find peace in the spaces where pain and love meet.
The commitment to domestic violence advocacy was shaped by another tragedy, the loss of our founder’s sister in 2009. Her memory fuels the work we do today and stands as a reminder that healing is not only personal but collective.
Now, Midwest Sister Circle Inc. serves as a community of hope and restoration for women across Central Indiana. Through education, advocacy, and connection, we stand beside women as they heal, grow, and rise, because healing begins in community, and no woman should ever walk alone.
